Needing fursuit supplies? can't get the right supplies? Dutchcollar offers a program to help the local fursuit makers with supply. Dutchcollar buys in bulk, LED strips, batteries, Electro luminance wire and other supplies. These supplies are not in the web-shop and can only be bought via email. 3M spray glue
The spray glue is often used in the auto motive sector to fabricate seats. Advantage of the glue is the high strength while remaining flexibility. One can contains 500 ml.
Led-strips one colour
Need some extra bling bling? no problem, for some extra work you can get ledstrips with just one colour. These are easy attachable and run with a 12 v battery pack.
When it comes to light, EL is a bit more dimm then high brightness leds, but they are more even in their light production. They come with or without sew lip so you can work them into the suit as decoration more easily then a led strip. EL wire is available per meter and even with lithium ion battery.
Loctite 406. 25 ml
Loctite 406 is a industrial plastic glue. suitable for rubbers and other plastics. It's low in viscosity and excellent to glue feet paws. One ampule is 25 ml
RGB is handy for when you want multiple colours, trough the side effect of these strips are that you can only make one colour at the time. They are a bit cheaper then full colour programmable led strips
Need some sequencing or programming done? No worries, I am an electronical engineer and can easily make something for you. All fursuit and cosplay electronics are build modulair and on basis of arduino so that you can edit everything yourself if you have to. Programming these microcontrolers is also possible
Just one small thing to make? buying leather skins is expensive and specially when you don't use a lot. It's possible to get scraps, or small pieces of leather and other fabrics via Dutchcollar. These parts are mostly cut away that are saved. Leather scraps can often be gotten for free.
These strips have build in drivers per led. making it easy to make complicated patterns. They are a bit more expensive and can not support an unlimited amount of leds without heavy driver, trough they can be operated via arduinos.
